Door de overtuigende beschrijving van zijn planeet zonder oorlogen, armoede en verdriet gaan Dr. Fuller en de andere patiënten geloven dat hij misschien wel de waarheid spreekt. Als Prot aankondigt dat hij binnenkort terug zal keren naar K-PAX, willen alle patiënten met hem mee.
